We are a Top 20 fastest growing accounting firms in the United States. We are inviting a standout professional with relevant experience for the position of Senior Manager – Taxation in our US office.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact these clients. Your portfolio of clients will primarily be Medium and large multinational corporations having operations in the US. You will be responsible for direct co-ordination/ interactions with clients.
- You will be expected to have reasonable knowledge on complex federal tax aspects such as R&D credits, UNICAP workings, Thin Capitalization etc. performing tax research and planning.
- You will be responsible for timely final review and delivery of the corporate income tax returns including quarterly estimates.
- Assist with federal audits, including correspondence, compilation of data requests and audit coordination.
- You will be responsible for developing & training the team of individuals and providing feedback on a regular basis.
- Manage risk and performance of engagements which may include project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6+ years in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; active CPA (current and valid license required) will be preferred.
- Strong technical skill in federal corporate taxation
- Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools, including hands-on experience with advance Excel features, Thomson Reuters Gosystems and tax research applications.
- Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
- Demonstrate problem solving ability along with attention to detail and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
