Purpose of the Job Role
We are inviting a standout professional, with relevant experience to lead Singapore based clients as Audit Manager/Assistant Manager and report to Senior Manager or Partners based in Singapore. Together with our professional team, you will be handling audit engagements which may cover varied industries. Our portfolio of clients might be local and foreign companies and would include SMEs, MNCs and listed
companies. Candidates with experience in operational, financial and management review, as well as the ability to provide sound recommendation of management actions based on insightful analysis, will be ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading a cross border team of Assistant Managers/Associates.
- Provide audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients.
- Demonstrate expertise in methodology to perform an assurance engagement in compliance with International standards of Auditing (ISA).
- Develop and lead a team of audit professionals.
- Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives.
- Manage project financials, including budgets, WIP, timely billing and collection and variance recognition.
- Maintain the highest technical and professional standards.
- Carry out practice management activities e.g. resourcing, scheduling, client billing etc.
- Undertake wider office activities, as required.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification, practicing member of the ICAI.
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience with large/mid-tier international accounting firms; candidates from the assurance sector with relevant experience are also welcome.
- Strong technical (accounting/auditing standards) & interpersonal skills.
- Possess initiative and an analytical mind.
- Ability to lead a team of like-minded professionals.
